Lake Fishing Guide — Terms of Service

Last updated: January 2026

Welcome to our community of freshwater anglers. These terms explain how to use our lake fishing guide, covering everything from bass fishing tips to perch fishing techniques. By creating an account or subscribing to a plan, you agree to follow them, so please read carefully before you head out to the river bank.

Using our lake fishing guide

You may use this guide only for lawful, responsible angling. Please don't misuse the site, disrupt our tools, or use the advice to target predatory fish or other freshwater fish in ways that break local fishing rules. We ask every angler with a spinning rod in hand to fish responsibly and respect other anglers on the water.

Your angler account

You're responsible for keeping your login details safe and for any activity logged under your account, including boat fishing trips, crankbaits you've tried, and caught fish you've recorded. Tell us right away if you notice anything unusual so we can protect your fishing log.

Plans and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically. Every plan is priced clearly, whether you're after basic lake fishing tips or full gear guides covering fishing spoons, soft plastic lures and spinning rod setups. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel anytime from your account settings.

Cancellations

You can cancel whenever you like. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, giving you time to finish planning your next bass fishing or lake fishing trip, after which it won't renew automatically.

Liability

We work hard to keep our guide accurate and our fishing tackle advice reliable, but to the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the period the issue arose — whether that's a tip about a fishing net, a lure recommendation, or advice on reading the river bank.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time as our lake fishing guide grows. The latest version will always be posted here, and we'll let every angler know before any material changes take effect, from new perch fishing sections to updated gear advice.
